Now, last time we have studied almost all useful alphabets
which we need to have knowledge about but still are just few left which I wanna
cover now in beginning of this part. And upsi :) I gave
you a kind of homework to do it by yourself which was speaking word : Română.
Today we will explain pronunciation of that special character too. So

Română. Now to complete
this section of pronunciation, all we have left with is learning one last table

So we have covered the all pronunciations but before you go
around showing your knowledge about how correct you can speak any Română word, one last thing you need to know
which is about vowels.
Same like English, Română is also having vowels but 8 of them
instead of 5 :) . These are: a, e, i, o, u, ă, â and Î. You already know their
pronunciations. Now when a word in Română ends at “i”, we make that “i” almost
silent that means we speak it as less as possible and the vowel which comes
before that “i” in the whole word, we emphasize on it. For example:
Luni (Monday) – make “i” almost silent and emphasize
on “u” when you speak it.
Same with
Marţi (Tuesday).
If you have paid
attention till now, then there is no word in Română now which you can’t speak correct.
I suggest you to go
ahead and open any page or take any content of Română and start reading it, it will not
only increase your confident in correct speaking but also will help you
learning these pronunciation faster. Keep in mind that there might be few
exceptions same as in any other language but don’t get demoralized by them
because once you got what is in majority then minority can be covered at any
time.
